“je t’accuse“

Accuse! is a British-American 1958 CinemaScope biographical drama film directed by and starring José Ferrer. The film is based on the true story of the Dreyfus Case, in which a Jewish captain in the French Army was falsely accused of treason.
  There are many types of music that I listen to when I write/ translate your story into ours and the homeless that we all serve,  in writing this the one that  listened to: Palladio it  is a composition for string orchestra by Karl Jenkins, written in 1995, with the title referring to the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio (1508–1580). The work in three movements is in the form of a concerto grosso.

The statue of liberty reads ” Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.” It dose not say “because we don’t got any of our own yet, and we need them to take advantage of, disrespecte,  and be  condescending to. This is a list of notable tent cities in the United States. A tent city is an encampment or housing facility made using tents or other temporary structures. For a bright and brief point in time Richmond Virginia had Camp Cathy. It was a central location where the homeless could go to a temporary safe harbor, have services delivered,  charity’s and social services had a location where they could go for outreach and help people on the path to recovery and a stable future. The mayor and the city council  and governor are under no illusions that the real power in this state lies with the country club set. When people pay the high price to join places like the Commonwealth Club, The Country Club of Virginia, Hermitage County club and others when they say jump. The question is not why but how high. The old money power base must be feared and given paid homage to. Even potential presidential candidates come to the University of Richmond to hold debates , such is the influence.
The camp as you see in these images was deemed an eye sore  and was with mallus closed. It may have also been a obvious and direct challenge to the established system of socal services and charity’s on Oliver Hill Way and others. Let’s not forget there is an estimated price on each homeless person’s head of $54,000 per person of your tax dollar’s a stake here. That’s a lot of money to lose because of a simple solution that was showing promising help. As with the aforementioned list, this time the powers at be may have won. But, it will resurrected in some way or fashion like all those other cities the homeless problem will rear its head and force the problem and on to this city who has to dragged kicking and screaming to do the right thing. And when it dose hopefully come back it may erected in Windsor Farms, or infront of the Commonwealth Club or on the green grassy patch called the County Club of Virginia.

 
After Camp Cathy was forcefully,  disassemble, at some point,  some of the homeless congregated around the cities Colosseum. As you see from the image below. It was admittedly unsightly and also left those individuals there vulnerable to assault by roving gangs, and teens of the Jackson Ward neaborhood. Moreover, and probably became a bone of contention for those at the Medical college of Virginia, the city’s convention business, and other’s. Naturally,  somthing had to been done. With great fan fair and boastful pride a development of mixed use housing offices, restaurants ect was announced. Therefore,  the homeless where forced evicted by the heavy hand of government.

They wanted the tents away from the coliseum so they sent this created position…Diane Wilmore to do it..besides getting them away from the coliseum what the hell has she done?? She is in charge of  library. This was a blatant and transparent act of political patronige. I mean really what kind of experience dose a librarian have with dealing with the homeless? I went to the professional web page LinkedIn and here is Mrs. Wilmore’s resume for you to look at. Also, the current mayor’s advisory committee recommends, items that have not happened and never will. I call bull shit. What resource center? And a librarian with is to conduct oversight over charity’s? Really? Where is that so called resource center? I could not find it ! More importantly I would have used it!

In the past few days an charity called homeward, showed up at the quality in Central. Their, quazi leader drove up in a late model Mercedes with  handicaped license plates. Her car was filled with bags of goodies for us. Admittedly, we where puzzled by it all at first. Then about 10 other people showed up also. The organization was there to take a survey of the homeless persons in our line.  Surveys are useless tools since the people design the questions asked to produce the desired results and in turn give them the ability to purchase vehicles like her’s. As the questions where asked and the inducements given. One by one of the people in the line commented that the only reason that “those”, people are here is because that’s how they make their money off of us. With an estimated $54,000 price on the homeless persons heads they are not wrong. I also was approached to take the survey.  My retort to the person was “you already have my opinion. “It’s Rvahomeless.home.blog”. I was given a wide berth by survey takes after that. It seemed to me that the only thing that was handicapped about their leader was to show up in an expensive car and strut infront of people who know she’s a little touched in the head bless her little hart.

Mrs, Rhonda Sneed,  has been wielding a sixteen pound sledgehammer alone in the service of the homeless for sometime now.  Moreover,  the powers at be certainly wish she would just go away. However,  now she has an anvil to focus and forge swords of truth , and righteousness now.  I see now that I have become that anvil on her behalf. In the last seen of the move Amistad,  Sir, Anthony Hopkins caricature (John Adam’s), is asked what magic words did you use? He replied “yours”. These are her words I forge and reshaped. As our journey on behalf of the ladies and gentlemen who happen to be homeless continues. I hope the powers at be see the light and pick up the swords she and many others are forging on the behalf of the homeless.

For as the world’s population grows from 7.38 billion to 10 and 15 billion, the problem is going to get worse and the city of Richmond solutions of token help and sweeping the problem under the carpet simply is not working. The late and repugnant Joseph Gobels, properganda minister to the Nazi war government said ” the more one repeats a lie, the more it becomes the truth ” he did with devastating results for an estimated total of 70–85 million people perished, or about 3% of the 1940 world population (est. 2.3 billion). Deaths directly caused by the war (including military and civilian fatalities) are estimated at 50–56 million, with an additional estimated 19–28 million deaths from war-related disease and famine, and concentration camps. We live on a democracy and we get to call bs on our leaders. To many are playing fast games with the truth. The poverty of  37 million  here in the United States  causes for repetitive riots and protesting, and homelessness.
